I highly recommend CertaPro Painters of Berkeley, CA. The crew for my two-story home was a two-person team, Jorge (Foreperson) and Domingo. The original estimate was done by the owner, Soumil. He checked in on the team's job a couple of times and called me to check in during the project. The estimate was competitive. Great experience! These professionals did extensive prep work, which is the key to a superior paint job. They were tidy and there was no mess for us to clean up when they were done. We were included at every step and they pointed out what was done and frequently checked-in to ask if we were satisfied with their work. Polite and friendly, I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. No surprise charges and fair pricing.

We had a great experience with CertaPro. We worked with Deon and Orlin. They were very quick to respond to questions and managed to incorporate some changes we made with short notice. Very happy with the finish and quality of the job, and we're hoping to work with them again on a future project.

This is a business that I can not recommend. Our house was in need of a full exterior paint job and CertaPro Berkeley was one of a group of companies we reached out to for quotes. Their quote was neither the cheapest nor most expensive but based on prior reviews and the estimator's attention to detail and responsiveness decided to choose them. Added photos showing CertaPro's poor paint job easily peeling off. I should also add that CertaPro damaged an alarm motion sensor, bent a refrigerator door hinge when moving refrigerator, and chipped paint on the bathtub. They eventually paid for all repairs, but it was a nuisance to get these fixed.

I was gathering quotes and CertaPro was one of the companies I scheduled an appointment with. I had an 11:30 appointment. I took time off of work and made myself available. 11:30 rolls around and nobody shows up. No call. No text. No email. 11:45 rolls around and I get a call asking to reschedule to later in the day. We were looking to get two accent walls painted in our new home, and Soumil, the owner of CertaPro Painters Berkeley, was professional and promptly responded to my questions and concerns via email. One of his employees, Nelson, ultimately performed the paint job and did excellent work. He started painting around 8:30am and was finished promptly by 12:30pm. He was personable and, as you can see from the photographs, very talented. We are extremely pleased with the finished product.
