I have waited 2 years to leave a review so my feelings would settle. CertaPro is a company which subcontracts out jobs they bid on to the cheapest bid from other contractors. Your results will depend on which group they pay to do your job. Alas, Bernardo and his crew got my job to power wash my shingled house and paint the trim, porches, new gate and fence. My wife and I are delighted at the outstanding paint job that CertaPro Painters of Oakland recently did on our 90 year old house. We've had the house for decades and usually have it painted bit by bit. As a Diamond Certified company they really live up to their reputation. They thoroughly explained the project to me and answered all my questions. Tom Swain as the sales manager, Deon Fouche the production manager and Jaime Andrade the job site supervisor and project manager were a pleasure to deal with. I was very pleased with the end result and I highly recommend them.
Our condo board hired CertaPro to paint the interior (entryway, stairwells, hallways & doors) of our 4 story, 12 unit building in Oakland. We had a great experience and I highly recommend them. Certapro provided a disappointing and expensive job, with below standards results. I wound't work with them again. As a franchise, they don't care about individual clients. They'll hire day laborers or a foreman who hires day labores and leaves them unsupervised at the site. Quality control was weak, as the Certapro supervisor showed up a few times a week for 10 minutes. CertaPro has no officially painted all my house and multiple times! The crew is professional and fast and pricing is aggressive. The last job was to repaint parts of my house, they made a little mistake in matching the color on certain spots but fixed it without any ado. Great working with you!

My 100 year old house was looking extremely weary on the outside, but the idea of repainting was overwhelming, so I kept postponing the work. Certapro was a pleasure to work with. We hired them to take on the exterior of our 8-unit building in North Berkeley. Deon, the project manager, was always available to talk and gave us regular updates along the way. After their completion, there were additional touch-ups needed.
