We've got a wonderful house. It's 20 years old. And it was last painted about 10 years ago. It was time for a facelift. I did what I do with a lot of services. I checked for Yelp reviews for a reputable paint contractor. I chose three companies that had very good reviews. Contacted them and got quotes. All three responded. Certa was great! I got multiple bids, and Certa was the lowest. I went with them, and was not disappointed! They painted the whole exterior of my house, and took extra care for things like patio furniture. They were careful, and went back To clean a few spots at the end where there was overspray. The house looks great! Just like new now! Would hire again!

Absolutely awful experience. These guy's were unprofessional and left my property a disaster. Take-out food garbage everywhere, bottles, cans, cigarettes all over the place. Paint all over everything we own (the screens, the drive way, the patio, the outdoor furniture). Trampled our plants. CertaPro was horrible! The cost was the same as the other 2 quotes we got. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.

I've revised my appraisal based on a couple of things. First, the negatives I mentioned in my original review really merit less than 4 stars. Next, 3 years after the original job some paint started peeling, because I can see that they didn't prime the bare wood. You *always* prime bare wood, exactly for this reason: If you don't, the paint will start peeling after a few years. Even the cheapest painter (and these guys weren't cheap) should know to prime first.

Please read this before you consider hiring CertaPro. It might save you money and a mountain of frustration. I hired them to paint the interior of my rental house. The assigned painter failed to properly prep the doors, trim, and baseboard. As a result, the paint failed to adhere. I was told to wait 3 weeks so the paint could cure. I waited, and the result was the same. That was 3 weeks I lost in renting the house. CertaPro wanted to make good after they dropped the ball. I'm genuinely surprised by the poor reviews on this site. I had a great experience with CertaPro. Nathan came out to quote the job and was very professional. The price was reasonable. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. Jordan from the office did a great job communicating with me and the crew showed up on time. Now for the crew...Miguel and another gentleman were wonderful! They were *very* respectful of our house and taped/laid plastic and protective materials down on all the hardwoods, carpet, etc. They ... read more

This company was recommended by our real estate agent. We paid a premium price for a poor quality product. There were streaks on every door because they didn't use enough coats. They left paint all over our floors. They didn't use painters tape, The trim is sloppy, with paint left on window sills and areas it shouldn't have. There are plenty of painters out there. Stay away from this company.

We had a wonderful experience with CertaPro. Mike was our contact for the initial estimate and was so helpful and informative. My husband and I are first-time homeowners, so we knew very little about paint work. Really appreciated Mike walking from room to room with us talking about any repairs and paint that could be done.
