My A/C went out on a Saturday, and I called them to see if I could get it repaired that night or the next day. A person answered the phone and said he could get me an appointment between 8 and midnight that same night. I waited until midnight, and no one show up or even communicated that they weren't coming. I called and got an AI bot that was completely useless. I would have rescheduled for Sunday (as the real person offered as an option), but the AI bot told me to call back during business hours. Oh man they were good 7+ years ago, always loved that they will do last-minute overnight Emergency calls for no extra fee. But these days, that's about all they have going for them. Now AC Doc are GREEDY MFs. Constant UPSELLING, and BUNDLE PRICING which you don't want unless you want to pay double to quadruple to just get it done and not think about it. Pure Disaster! We've used AC Doctors for several years with no complaints. When they added the plumbing side to their business we were excited to use them. We needed two new toilets, and a new garbage disposal. They were clearly not staffed to handle the work. They sent a brand new guy all by himself (he told us it was his first day on the job). One unhappy customer here. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone because the new AC unit I got this time last year (that cost me over $18K) has broken down twice in the past month. We're talking Phoenix summer heat, house getting to nearly 100F with every fan running. The workers let us know that it was installed improperly but the company (Crissy) denied any wrongdoing and wouldn't offer a penny even though we paid top dollar. Tech solved our issue but did not review what was wrong or the price before proceeding to fix and then charging double the industry average. I've learned that if a service company has flashy vehicles and big online marketing presence the chances you are going to get ripped off increase 2x. Was considering having them replace the entire A/C unit by end of year but that is off the table.

I have had issues with my A/C since July 2nd. The technician Justin has been to my home 4 times and my issue has not been resolved. The first time he came he stated that my unit was working no proble, he left and later on that same day the unit was not cooling at all. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend. If you need to be serviced within 24 hours, they will not make the dead line. They are a contract vendor with Invitations Homes and treat "Renters" like trash routinely missing agreed times of arrival and not showing up at all.
