1/18/19 had dinner here Friday and my companion and I ordered off the restaurant week menu She wedge salad and fillet and dessert I ordered steak salad and fillet and dessert Our server was April and we expected our meal to cost $35.00 each however when we received our bill we were charged $45.00 each and when I questioned April she said she though we wanted the larger fillet which we didn't she should have asked us when she took our order On the way out one of the managers asked us how everything was and I told him about th... read more

Went to Ruth's Chris on a cold Sunday evening. Decided to go the week BEFORE Restaurant week to avoid the crowds. Great experience. We started with the calamari, which was amazing.The wife and I both got the Filet. BEST steak I've ever had. She had the brussels sprouts and I had potatoes au gratin. There are a lot of places in the QC to get steak, but this is one of the best. Molly was the perfect server, and the manager on duty, Eric checked on us several times. We'll definitely be back.

Went on a date there on Friday night 1-11-19 at 7: 30, we were greeted and seated promptly and received really good service from Erin. I decided on the sea bass and she got a filet. The sea bass was not good at all, kind of rubbery and not very hot. My dates filet was good as well as the Au gratin potatoes. We both got Caesar salads to start and they were both underwhelming. There's a reason why Ruth Chris is a staple. Everything is superb...every time, every service. We were visiting with a friend who was in town. We ordered a variety of items from the menu and everything was superb. For a party of 6, our server was particularly attentive and made us feel as though we were his only table.

The service is superb!!! The food is absolutely delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and very polite. The gentlemen I believe is the manager Eric was absolutely wonderful. Inquired about our meals, helped with our wine menu. LOVE THIS PLACE

My boyfriend & I frequent RC quite often. It's always superb, but this time was not the best for me. The bone-in filet was so good! Shrimp were perfect. Tender steak that you could cut with a butter knife, literally! Bursting with buttery flavor. However, the lobster tail was a different story. It was so tough and over cooked that I could barely cut it. Left hungry after eating the remaining of my boyfriends steak because I hate sending stuff back at restaurants. A double date without kids brought us to Ruth's Chris during Restaurant week. We valeted and went into the uptown doors and told the hostess that we had reservations. I went to wash my hands and when I came back I found that our table was ready at the time promised and we were seated. Our waiter was awesome, he had a wonderful sense of humor, understood that we were out without kids, and held some generally good conversation. Ruth's Chris is undeniably one of my favorite places to eat which is why I am HIGHLY disappointed and disgusted with the service my friend and I received last night. We were starving after the Panther's game and decided to eat at Ruth's Chris uptown Charlotte. It was nice weather so we dined outside on the patio. A go to spot in Uptown when craving steak and some good ole comfort food. I know it's a chain, but the food, drinks and service are always on point. Located conveniently in the center of Uptown and a nice patio as well. We sat on the patio the other night and Cassie was our waitress.
