Mac was very easy to work with and was very thorough in gathering information for my estimate. I had some timing and logistical constraints that Mac was able to accommodate. The crew showed up on-time, was diligent throughout the project, and cleaned up at the end of each day. At the end of the project, when I discovered a couple doors had been painted with a different finish than originally agreed upon, someone came out to fix the issue immediately. So, the day after our previous review (Dec. 30th), we were contacted by the office. The manager again apologized, this time citing covid as the reason for the delay. A clean up crew was dispatched to finally touch up the undone areas and take away the items that belonged to them. The crew who showed up (early Dec. 31st) were efficient and friendly, fully explaining which cans of paint they were leaving for us were for which surfaces. Paint looks super. Hope they have organized the office.

My experience with Certa Pro Painters of Long Beach was awesome from start to finish, so let me break it down: 1. The estimate: scheduling an estimate was easy and Mac was, by far, the friendliest and most thorough person I talked with when collecting estimates. He happily answered all my questions and explained the reasoning behind his recommendations. This review could easily have been a 1-star review but because the company, its owner and supervisor Mike Bird rose to the occasion, I've given it a 4 out of 5 score. The painter CertaPro sent to do the job did an almost laughably bad job. Hired to resurface and paint the ceiling (after we removed the popcorn ceiling) of the condo we just purchased, the end product was shoddy work. One word can describe my review of Mac and his team of professionals: AWESOME! I needed to have a 50-year old pergola painted and treated for mold. When Mac first looked at it, he surprised me by being able to push his fingers through the dry rot in many of the slats and one of the main support beams. His quote included power wash, remove/replace dry rot wood, sanding entire structure, caulking, priming and painting with an estimate of 4 days. I am more than happy with the outcome of my condo being painted by Certa Pro Long Beach/Torrance! This was my 1st time having a place of my own painted. When Mac came out to give me a quote "we hit it off" right away. He was very humble, patient, and understanding (because I am going through a divorce after 23 years of being married), helpful, and Honest. This company provided the best information and education to me on what to look for in painting a home in Belmont Shore. We hired CertaPro to paint our house in Long Beach. Jeff came out to our house to give us an estimate of the work to be completed. Within a short time we decided to move ahead with the estimate and scheduled our job. Santos, Steven and another worker showed up to complete our job. They were on time, reliable, friendly and pleasant to work with. We would highly recommend using CertaPro for your painting needs.

The initial presentation and quoting process was great although they were priced considerably higher than other local painters. Jeff checked in regularly at 1st to make sure we were ready as house was being remodeled. The crew was very personable (all except one) and pleasant to work with. They did a very sloppy job and didn't clean up after themselves.
