They installed my closet without the drawers 2 weeks ago even though they said they would have everything ready that day. After many calls to the store, customer service and the designer they get back to me the next day and say the shipment is delayed. My problem is that 2 weeks later no updates unless I reach out repeatedly. Still no drawers and half my closet is spread around my room. Poor customer service after spending $20,000 on a closet!
I have had my California Closets for almost 20 years and have been pleased with the quality and the durability. Earlier this year, I noticed that the laminate had come away from one of 4 cabinets and I was surprised and worried. I went to the CDM store as a walk in and talked to a very lovely woman who understood what I was talking about and said that C.C. stands behind their product and would help me. We had a wonderful experience using California Closets to design a custom storage closet for our home. Amazing customer service from Brittany! She listened to our needs and created a design that was perfect for what we needed: hanging storage and additional shelving with doors to enclose everything. Installation was professional and quick. We have used CA closets on multiple occasions. Everyone from the designer (Emily Haradon) to the installer (Andrew) this job and all past jobs has been responsive, organized, efficient and knowledgeable. I so appreciate that they always leave the job clean and tidy. If anything needs an adjustment they return to fix it, even years later. We had some shifting in our cabinets due to our home settling over time. They returned to fix it at no charge. The customer service they offer is rare these days. I just finished having an entire room complemented with California Closets. I adore it. My designer Brittany Tall is the best. We have used California Closets several times in a few different homes. We love working with Michelle, as she is responsive and able to create a design that fits our needs. We just turned a guest bedroom into my home office and Michelle combined storage, beauty and function. Im so happy to have a place for everything. I wish I had read the disappointing reviews BEFORE I went with California closets. I thought going with a business so well known, I would be treated with fantastic service. Opposite. They don't care. My rep was awful at follow up (also quite rude-as if I wasn't the CUSTOMER). They initially installed my closet the on opposite walls of how it was supposed to be. Then took their sweet time to fix their screw up. Pricing was ridiculously high. They try to sneak things in to the quote so make sure you ask for the entire breakdow... read more
