We loved our experience. We were a little worried at first because the California Closets brand is so positive that we were thinking it was going to come at a premium price. yes, it was a little more, but not as much as we thought and definitely within the range. I went into this process totally blind and absolutely love the results! I was nervous about not knowing what to ask for but the beauty of CC is that they have experts that operate almost like mind readers and they figure out your needs (based on expertise) and they visualize and then draw up a sketch of possibilities. The initial process, quality of work and pricing is OK but I don't know how they stay in business. If you need a follow up, you can't call the local office and speak to a salesperson. You can't email them either. You have to call a national number and get patched in. My last two salespeople left the company and when you do get someone they sound frazzled or disinterested since they weren't the original salesperson. I've been trying to buy a couple items for weeks and am simply chasing my tail via phone messages etc. The emer... read more

Very customer-oriented. Got a great price on closets, had some install issues, however they really bent over backwards to make it right coming out for a few trips and never stopped trying. I would gladly recommend them and I've had positive experience calling them for some additional wood to match for other projects. They delivered with no issue and even wanted to cover it on them just to keep the relationship. Thanks!

My closet is now the best part of my house. I only have the best things to say about my experience with California Closets in Seattle. The price - I got three bids, one from an online designer, a local Seattle company (very nice), and California Closets. California Closets was more expensive, but the quality and the design were significantly better than the other two. The designer worked with me to reduce cost a bit by changing a few finishes. I retained CC to build out 2 bedroom walk-in closets, the coat closet and my pantry in my new townhouse. My designer was delightful to work with, and the results are very attractive and of high-quality. The designer made suggestions for details--such as a high-gloss color accent drawer--that make a big visual difference. CC is not the cheapest, but the quality is much higher than the lower-cost competitors.

After trying a family-owned more local closet company and being extremely disappointed with just the appointment setting and quoting process, I turned to Calif Closets and the process was smooth, fun and professional from beginning to end. I love my newly designed closet and the 10% saved by being a Costco member is icing on the cake.

Went into the Bellevue store today. The lady there did say "Hello", but that is it. I need to find a new master closet remodel this month, will no be using California Closets. I could of gotten service if we were an IPhone App. The lady was very interested in her phone, just not a human. Good luck with them!!
