I had a great experience with California Closets! Judy was our consultant and she did an amazing job planning out our reach-in closet in our master bedroom. We had 40" of dead space on one side of closet and now it is all used space. The quality and looks of the finished closet are amazing and I would do it all over again. Now, I am considering hiring them for another closet or the pantry.

I'm going to take a pass on these guys. Way too expensive for way too little service & flexibility. Prepping the closet & installation is extra. No call reminder the day before they showed up. Her response was, "Oh yeah I was going to call you, but then I got distracted and forgot." The girl who showed up was all of about 12. Granted, she was able to take measurements, plug them into CAD, and create a virtual design, which looked great but was almost $2000. If I had a remotely decent sized closet I wouldn't mind. Boooooo California Closets, boooooo on you. A year later and I'm still kicking myself in the ass for going with them. Kicking myself for listening to a friend that recommended them, kicking myself for not trusting my instinct when the process started getting more difficult and unprofessional. My closet "salesman", Joe was a complete moron. Everyday, there seemed to be a new problem with him. From start to finish Megan @ California Closets did a great job! We had a room that lacked functionality and had very bad flow. Megan turn our room (bdrm/den/crafts/work) into what we needed and it's looks 100% better. Do not forget to ask for a yelp discount.

Simply a cut above the rest. I had California Closets in both of my houses and they've really held up well to all the abuse they get. They look as good as the day we installed them. We actually have California Closets systems in all of our closets and our home office, as well as our basement "entertainment"/kids rec room. If we had a pantry or garage we'd have it there too, but we don't live in a big suburban hose. I blew my mom off when she told me 'you better shop around' and now I regret it. California Closets did a perfectly fine job, but part of me wonders if I could have gotten something comparable for less money. I hired CC to design and install a 12 foot by 8 foot set of shelves and drawers against a wall of my study, and a small A/V rack above my desk. Total cost was $2745.
