RecommendedRJ Groner is a company that stands behind their work. I had 2 Fujitsu Haylycon split units installed by them. One unit stopped working twice. The first time it was within the warranty period, the second time it wasn't but the owner Mr. Katz called me and said they are going to fix it free of charge, and they did! Thanks Mr. Katz, I highly recommend your company!
Service technicians were friendly and worked fairly quick to replace my oil furnace but I can not recommend. Quoted/charged me for a 119k BTU furnace. After noticing my furnace was running all day on a warmer (50s) day I went to look at the furnace and saw they installed an 85k furnace. Called and asked about it and said the one I was quoted for "wouldn't fit" but they would have someone look at it. Stay away from the Energy Kinetics boilers they are pushing! Had a new one installed and have nothing but issues with this unit shutting down all winter. Manufacture and Groner Co have NOT found out what the issue is even after they keep swapping out parts and pipes. Hope one of them find a solution for this problem or off to court we go! Forced to warn the community to stay away from these units and do your research on Energy Kinetics…
Customer service could have handled things better with my situation. I know what I know, and the girls at customer service would not have done anything or told me anything if I hadn't told them I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and left a poor review in Google. I had a small issue - I forgot to give the plumber who fixed my toilet last Friday, February 16th my $50.00 off coupon and tried to call customer service to see if they would credit me for $50.00, and there just was lack of communication there. I typically don’t write reviews but I feel like I have to here. Last week the day before our vacation to Florida our furnace stopped working. Called rj groner because they were open 24/7. First off the woman who answered the phone told me someone could come out and the emergency service would be $225 and we said ok. When the technician arrived said it was actually gunna be $300 and the woman on the phone was wrong about the price. You were charged $225 (not $300) on 1/19/2022 and should have received a copy of the $225 credit card refund receipt in your email. I have also emailed to you a copy of the work order which states all the issues the technician found and the pictures that correspond to them. called for service for a leak on the furnace. the tech came in with no tools. when he looked at the problem he told me what I already knew. he suggested I purchase the necessary part and install it myself. I said fine can you check the rest of the furnace and install a clean filter. he said I dont carry filters on my truck. I asked him to leave.
Work at Whitestone Commons, senior citizens apartment building. A no show twice. I called to talk to a supervisor, took my info and still no call. First no show was someone else's emergency,don't know about 2nd no show because no will call me back. Disgraceful....I will also be taking my personal home business away from you also.
