The designer Tyler comes out and promises you whatever you want to hear and then the issues start - Oh I cant use your shower door, Oh the tile you want in the catalogue I gave you is 5 TIMES more expensive, Oh the tile you selected in the catalogue I gave you is no longer available. Oh and he promised to get right back to me and then took 2 weeks off without a word. I tried to ask for a different designer and i got - Oh thats not possible. SO whos the customer here?

We had Floor Coverings International install a rubber floor in our home gym. It was a seamless experience from contact, to material selection to install. They brought everything to me, which as a busy mom was extremely helpful. I would do business again with them in a heartbeat.

Horrible place. No communication at all! They only answer the phone when they try sell the job but after they take half down they ignore you!!

We had read the negative reviews on Floor Coverings International but noticed an obvious bias. Most were written by competitors and many from the Portland branch; not Vancouver. We met with the Vancouver office and decided to use them. They were excellent. The workmanship was excellent. Calvin was at our worksite every day during installation and the only problem was running a few boards short which necessitated a special order. This took a little time but out of their control. My experience with Floor Coverings International was with 80 sq. Yards of Shaw Carpeting and padding in different rooms. The installers Mike and Christian were on time, worked without a break, and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up each room after the installation was finished was appreciated. They had to move my heavy furniture and took great care in doing so, and I was there in every move and, they did not mind. I'd be happy to hire them again, just outstanding. I cannot recommend this company to anyone based upon my experiences with this vendor. First, I was supposed to receive a call from someone on a Thursday or Saturday. That person never called. Secondly, the porcelain tile I selected was "out of stock;" I selected another which was supposed to be plentiful. In preparation for the today's scheduled installation, I emptied the contents of two six foot tall, floor standing cabinets. I am writing this review for my Aunt that lives and owns a B and B in Carlton, Oregon. My poor Aunt is so upset and so frustrated that she cannot even write this review, but I am more than willing to, so that I can warn all those that are potentially considering hiring this scam of a company for their flooring needs.
