They did the floors in my two upstairs bathrooms. Competitive on price and did an excellent job. Very professional and efficient, and my floors look great. Would also like to mention they did an outstanding job cleaning up afterwards. They had to remove the original tile and the cement, so a lot of dust and residue gathered. This is a classic tale of why you should always get competitive quotes before committing. FCI sent me a quote for wool carpet that seemed extremely high, and it turns out my instincts were spot on. I had also requested a quote from a distributor for the same Earth Weave carpet, and they came in at $92/sq yard compared to FCI's $121. When I asked FCI for an install-only price, they suddenly bumped it up by $3,000. There is no doubt restoring a floor is a big job requiring attention to detail, moving furniture, disconnecting stereo and computer components as well as clearing tables. Then when the job is done everything is done in reverse. Full house add-ons or restorations require moving out for several days. I like to do things myself, but this is not one of them. Yes, Reinel, in answer to your question......what you can do for me is pay me for the articles of clothing and jewelry that was stolen by your crew. $1,000 should just about cover it. They advertise doing residential, yet when I just called in they said that it was a "smaller job that we usually do". Bryce didn't even bother to get my square footage! I happen to have 3 rental properties and this was the one I wanted to pick someone to gauge if I want to use them on the rest, oh well...there are lots of other installers.
