We hired CertaPro to paint two bathrooms, a hallway, dining room and a bedroom. For the most part, we are extremely pleased with their work. They worked hard, super nice, finished on time and the pricing was competitive. The only exception...the paint in one of the bathrooms started wiping off after a week. We've used CertaPro twice now for complete jobs of indoor painting. They are responsive, reasonably priced, and extremely helpful. Soumil even helped us choose paint colors that would look good based on our ideas, and he was flexible with the date we wanted to begin. During the job the crew arrived and left on time and completed the entire inside of our condo and our house exactly as planned. Their employees are friendly and respectful. We were very pleased with their service and would recommend them without hesitation!
Our experience with CertaPro was better than we expected. My friend recommended them to us. We met with Carlos first, who provided a detailed estimate for exterior painting. They had the best price compared with the other quotes we got. I did not have a good experience with CertaPro painters. I found the owner who came to my home to be very pushy. He didn't like the colors I had chosen and told me just what colors I should use and how the rooms should be painted (e,g, while ceilings, hall and living room same color, etc.). I resented his approach because I had my own ideas about what I wanted and they were not respected.
I hired CertaPro to paint the interior of my loft in Oakland back in 2007. Soumil was extremely professional in all his meetings, and he had someone on staff that helped me with color choice and placement - we have one "drama" wall, and I was leaning toward painting everything else a neutral. She suggested a warmer color, not too dark, on the very long wall that carries through the kitchen area into the living area. I love it, and am so glad we went that way! I have nothing but superlative things to say about both Soumil and CertaPro. From start to finish they are the most professional painting company I have ever had contact with or had work for me. Given that I never initiate or complete a home improvement project without at least three estimates, and that I have owned my well maintained home for 20 years, I have had many painters come to give me estimates as well as to do work. We hired CertaPro to paint the exterior of our house. After getting other estimates from other companies, I found that CertaPro had the best price and I loved their customer service, which is important to me. They called me back promptly, the owner came by for the estimate, had a detailed contract (very important!) and took the time to make sure I was happy with everything. The painter who did the job was friendly, professional and did a great job prepping and cleaning up at the end of the job. I highly recommend them.
I found my certapro experience to be top notch. Honestly, I usually with the cheapest offer, but Soumil, the owner explained me the value of the service I was looking for. The work was done promptly and professionally. In hindsight, the value of the product is highlighted when I speak to my friends and colleagues who have 'painting nightmare' stories. We hired Certa Pro to paint a new bathroom, a few ceilings and doors in our home. We have worked with them before and been very satisfied with their work. The work they did in our house was well done and professional, and their price quote for the work was reasonable. We did have a misunderstanding with Certa Pro about part of the work that we felt should be done but apparently was not on our contract.
