The price advertised on Car Gurus is apparently IF you use their finance department. I was informed that their website states that, but of course, I was on CarGurus. They wanted to add approximately $1500 in Pricessing Fees and Doc Prep, so the price advertised is not really the price. They kept saying that they were giving me $1000 off, because I was paying cash, so they were doing me the huge favor of honoring the advertised price. Don’t waste your time on this place. They wanted to give me $1500 for my trade, kbb trade in was $6842 plus they cut zero off their asking price plus they try to pressure you into a $1600 care package with your purchase. An 18k car was written up as over 19k and that’s with my trade. So it’s give us your car and buy ours at asking price. No thank you. I drove over 200 miles to see this car. They never called me back. What a joke.
Walked in, no one greeted me. After about 10 mins I asked if someone could unlock the car so I could look inside. A rude woman who seemed like she hated her job said “you can’t test drive until you’re pre-approved” I replied and said I didn’t ask to drive it I asked you to unlock it. I didn’t bother telling her I was already pre-approved. Miserable people.
