When we called to schedule the appointment, we were told that if we did not schedule the following day we would get a free estimate; so we agreed to wait the extra day. When the technician arrived the ‘free estimate’ ranged from a level 1 $79 to level 2 $234. As we were inconvenienced with our electric issue we decided to not delay our repair and ‘trusted’ that this was probably needed. The technician was there for several hours. I felt the cost of $156.00 (labor only) to hang 2 flush mount fixtures was expensive. The electrician was very nice & professional & did a good job. It was more than I expected to pay.
Technician did not thoroughly investigate issue. The same problem occurred less than 2 weeks later, with a loose wire the culprit, something a licensed electrician should have found. I fixed the problem myself.
Kept putting service time off. Had to say if not here between 2-3pm, cancel the call. Service tech Joe was great.
I feel overcharged and they tried to sell me additional devices.
