bought a brand new a/c exactly 3 years ago. had a problem about 2 weeks later. then they had to install another thermostat. signed up for a maintenance agreement. tech came out twice a year to inspect the a/c. I told the tech that it wasn't cooling the house very well. I was told on more than 6 occasions that it was because it was so hot out. Terrible company! Save yourself time and lots of frustration and avoid them. I booked a simple A/C tune up and confirmed the appointment the day before by text message. I waited all day and no one showed up and no one bothered to call. I called them after 4:00pm and asked if they were still coming or what happened. The person said - Yes the technician was still coming and I was next Appointment up. At 4:30pm a different guy called me and said technician would NOT be coming today for the scheduled appointment. I wish I could give negative stars! We had a complete new air conditioning system installed by Cool Today on 10/16/21 & financed the $15,332 cost. At the time, the salesman talked my husband & me into the most expensive system saying the unit, maintenance plus all service would be covered for 10 years. We hadn't had air conditioning for 24 hours & were pretty desperate at the time. I was at Home Depot and Cool Today offered a $19 complete ac checkup. what a mistake that was!! The guy came out and gave us a complete 100% on everything he checked. Our air conditioner was in perfect condition since we bought the house 3 years ago. But since we were in the process of selling the house a good review would reassure the new buyers. Purchased a Carrier heat pump to replace a forced hot air furnace & a/c. The installation was a nightmare. It took 2 crews over 96 hours to just get it into working condition. They do very sloppy work. Installed plumbing directly on top of our air ducts in the attic, cut the thermostat wire, didn't cap the gas line, installed plumbing that blocked the access panel on the air handler, etc. They refused to return phone calls or emails. I regret ever hiring this company.

very aggressive service techs. told we needed an entire new unit, sales was high pressure and against my better judgment went with them. the installation was Done May 20, 2023. 5 months later an issue with the drain and system shut down. again a very aggressive tech and first thing out of his mouth was it was our fault and needed a new drain pan at $59. system has still not had its final inspection from lake county. this company continues to drop the ball, very poor communication and absolutely no follow through with anythin... read more

Not cool today. could not promise a day that the unit would be fixed or replaced. We were then quoted over 5k over our other quote to replace the unit. To fix the unit they wanted over 10k. Please do your research. These guys are not legally stealing from me.

$400 to replace a $13 capacitor. They did the work, as could anyone. Call around and ask a/c companies how much they charge for this. 2 stars because they didn't suggest replacing all our units. Lol Florida now! Crazy.
