Called Alert Cool Today, they scheduled an appt the very next day regarding my plumbing.. So Don came out & he was very thorough in checking all the bathroom from sinks, showers, & toilets, of course ending up to the kitchen sink to the water heater . He was so informative & also made suggestions to what I may need in the future & offering me quotes via email.. I recommend to anyone who needs their pipes check this is the Team you want on your side & ask for Don!!! Thank you Alert Cool Today, for giving me peace of mind !!

Chris Staving was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He cleaned the unit and found it was low on freon and 2 parts required attention. Chris recommended changing and I elected to change the 2 parts. I highly recommend Alert Air Conditioning & Heat, with a technician like Chris working for Alert you just can not go wrong using them.

Called plumber for a few jobs. Did great on snaking out kitchen sink and quoted me on bath/shower faucet replacement for 1800.00 which was steep but we were on a time crunch so booked it. When plumber came out a few days later, he stated that he may be able to repair the old faucet parts, wanting to send me to a plumbing hardware store that had been closed for over a year and a half. We have officially been without A/C in Siesta Key for over a month due to Cool Today's incompetence and shoddy equipment they sold us. We had a brand new unit installed in January of this year. In July it failed. They came out promptly to fix it under warranty. No luck, "bad board, need to order new one, we'll make it ASAP because we know how hot it is." Worst company I have dealt with for customer service and trying to up-sell. Last week Cool Today cancelled last minute and promised first appointment (8:00 AM) today after I complained about scheduling around a four hour window for the technician to arrive last week. Today received a call from the tech at 10:15 AM acknowledging the appointment was for first call with no explanation why the appointment was not honored. Bought my AC unit from this company with issues as to installation. So sorry I have dealt with them.

I've never hated a company like I hate Cool Today. They should change their name to Hot Today. Run away as fast as you can. Don't ever give them your business. Their techs come out and make it worse and then they blow you off. Run away people. Run away.
