After renting out our home for the past five years I was sure I'd need to have some painting done inside to get it ready for my family to move back. And I was right. The day I got possession of the house I walked through and was horrified and what the tenants had done. We choose CertaPro painters to paint our house because all of the bids were fairly similar and we liked the fact that CertaPro offered a free color consultation. We had our color consultation with Anya and she was great. She asked us some questions and then gave us a limited amount of suggestions then we worked through those to get to our top choices and we even painted samples and looked at them over a few days before we selected. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience...from owners Jeff & Nicola Dahlin visiting our home for initial planning and bid prep, to subsequent office coordination, all the way through to Hector and crew completing the paint job, we were treated with the utmost in professionalism and courtesy...our 1957 split-level home needed lots of scraping and extra attention in various areas but all was handled well and the results look great! We will give Certapro Painters our highest recommendation to everyone!

Called for a bid,they came and measured and left.just under two weeks and still no one called.I called back myself twice.They said i would have bid "soon" on both occasions...still nothing...i dont get it.This is at least a $20,000 job. Its hard to find a company that will just follow through or communicate properly.If you dont want it just say so,so i can move on.No harm no foul,no bad reviews.But now i have lost two weeks of valuable summertime weather and possibly 2-3 more weeks of trying to get other bids and get my proj... read more

Where do I start. First off we were repeat customers. CertaPro painted the exterior of house in 2013. Beautifully done. When we were ready for the interior this year, 2014, we went with the logical choice. What a difference a year makes. This was the most unprofessional contract work we have ever had done. I'm on the HOA board of a subdivision that used CertaPro of Bothell/Lynnwood to paint the exteriors of several homes. We were not made aware beforehand that this particular CertaPro franchise subs out all of their work. From chatting with some of the painters doing the project in our subsivision and from researching online I eventually learned that CertaPro typically pays their subs less than half of the job price, but the subs have to buy the paint and materials and cover their own operating expenses. Avoid at all costs. They will use the wrong tools to paint (ie a roller to paint a door/garage door leaving horrible texture), damage surrounding area and in an attempt to correct the damage make it worse. Their office staff (Stephanie in particular) is extremely rude and lacks all follow through when issues are raised (except of course when it's time to pay - then she's like a pitbull). I would not recommend them to anyone. Remember, you get what you pay for and with CertaPro Painters of Bothell that isn't much..
