Horrible communication. Waited for 4 weeks after quote was accepted and deposit paid to determine that they couldn't perform the project because of the presence of old lead paint. This was disclosed to the estimator during the initial visit. If they couldn't perform the job they should have never provided the quote. Completely wasted my time.

Horrible experience. You would think for $8,000 the job would be professional but it wasn't. One painter sat on his phone the whole time and painted with one hand, another, when finishing up for the day cracked open a cold one and then a few days later stopped by to watch his buddy paint while sitting on the hood of his car drinking. The foreman and his assistant were the only ones who took it serious but weren't always around. The Two Painters and Supervisor came in the house first day and looked over the house. We had to explain to them what rooms and what colors was suppose to be painted per room. Even though they had a full report on where and what colors was to be used. They did cover everything and tape areas too. It took two days for them to paint the interior of the house, but that was expected. Excellent outcome. Make sure you look up Pacific NW Holdings Inc prior to doing business with this company. They were issued 16 OSHA violations for the "work" they did on my home. Certapro is able to hide lawsuits and violations by having their franchisee carry a business license in a different name. We found this out after 2 years of litigating. Jeff Dahlin and his untrained employees caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to our home and health then disappeared after promising to fix it. He lied to us, our attorney, h... read more

Utterly disappointed! No prep or extremely poor prep work and the gutters facing the walls were not painted and many missing spots and uneven paint lines. Took almost 2 weeks and even though the quality was so poor we just wanted to get it over with the company and its contractor. That's right, not an employee! Also the company sent out only one contractor who didn't care about anything! The first time we used them they did a half decent job on our exterior trim, so we called them back when we needed our interior done. The estimator indicated our timeline (2 weeks out) wouldn't be an issue. He sent over the estimate, which we accepted, and then he waited FOUR days to tell us that they wouldn't be able to start for a month. So now it's four days later and we're scrambling to get a painter in here next week. This is customer service at its lowest. Avoid them.

From start to finish, this was an excellent experience. The quote process was thorough and complete. Pricing was very fair and competitive. We used the color consultant and she was very helpful. The weather was perfect this week and the team showed up on time to pressure wash. The carpentry work was very good quality and they made an effort to match the siding. Did a good job of that. We contracted CertaPro for 2 jobs. One to paint the interior of our home and the 2nd was our office interior. Carlos and his crew did a decent job from start to finish. We had one problem that CertaPro and they took care of it. Some of the painters tape used took off the coating/sealant to our hardwood floors and left some damage. I was able to get two quotes which CertaPro took care of the bill. One thing to keep in mind is that they might contract out the actual painting crew. CERTA-PRO Painters of Lynnwood has the worst management, crew, workmanship, and reliability of any trade or service I have ever done business with. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. * They do not keep their word, neither in scheduling nor in the painting plan. The job start was pushed back twice and still not kept.
