We have been using California Closets for over 25 years and the last 5 years have been with the Scottsdale store. Pat F has been our "go to" designer since we moved to Arizona and she has an amazing knack for creating the perfect layout. Recently we had made 3 phone calls to this California Closets location to inquire about the possibility of having some additional shelving made for our existing walk-in closet. We explained, in detail, exactly what we were looking to do, and each time we were told that the sales agent was busy with a client but they would take our name and number and get back to us as soon as possible. Each time I waited at least 2 days before I called again. It's been at least 10 days since the first phone call, and to date still no respons... read more

Did well on the design, but appears extremely expensive. They have HUGE mark ups. Just can't recommend a company that overcharges to the maximum, in my opinion. I verified the cost of goods of our project at approximately $3000-$4000 and they wanted to charge over $13,000. Granted that did include installation.

We hired California Closets to assist in the design of our master bedroom closet remodel. Molly came to our home within a few days and provided us with several design options, along with pricing. She was very professional and helpful. We were able to move up our install date by several weeks, and had a very easy install. We are very pleased with our new closet and will use them again.

California closet did a great job on design and installation BUT customer service after you pay is another. We asked if someone could come and adjust the rods they were to far forward. They said they would have to charge us for a service call. We are in our 70's and standing on a ladder was not safe plus we spend a lot of money. So no stars to the manager of the Scottsdale store.

I have used California Closets multiple times in other locations and had great luck, but the local franchisee doesn't seem to have any understanding of why people use their service. Our three day installation that was pre-ordered four months in advance took five weeks to do because they didn't budget enough labor for the installation to start with and they are way behind on all of their other jobs. Taylor was our design consultant and she did a wonderful job helping us with a bookcase for our house. The whole process was easy, and Taylor was a lot of fun to work with! Highly recommend.

They have a beautiful showroom in Scottsdale that is open 7 days a week. I choose not to go with them mainly because of cost, but they do nice work. They must be busy because no one called me back after I waited online then opted for a call back. So frustrating to not reach people, and it was Monday!

I had excellent service from Taylor. She helped me design my dream closet and my son's too. She spent the time to make all the changes I needed to make everything perfect. She was very friendly and kind. The price was reasonable for a closet exactly the way I wanted it and it will installed too. This is my second time using this company. I'm very happy.
