Preston Mitchell was our Designer for California Closets. He arrived on time and took measurements of the closet area. Within an hour he had proposed a design for us based on information that we provided him about our needs. It looked fabulous. I would definitely recommend Preston Mitchell to design your closet. It was shown to us in 3D and we were able to look at the design from all angles including overhead. It took about 5 weeks to get the finished product. Preston designed my master closet and another small walk-in closet. The spaces are more functional and I can organize all my things better. It was easy to interact with CA Closets. Preston came out to my house to take measurements and talk about what I needed. The installation was done professionally. I should also mention that CA closets was flexible about me getting one closet done first and then another one later.

Preston, our sales and design consultant, did an outstanding job explaining the options, and then designing a very efficient and beautiful closet for our vacation home in Palm Springs.. The gentlemen who installed could not have been more professional and courteous. They worked hard to complete the install in one day and they were so neat and left the house spotless. This is not your typical 5-star review since we didn't hire California Closets - but we should have. Preston Mitchell, one of the Palm Springs CC resident closet designers, spent hours with me, then both my husband & me, preparing & revising a closet design for a large but unusually shaped walk-in closet with a sliding door entrance. We had particular needs (e.g. taller rods & spaced farther apart to accommodate my husband's 6'5" longer clothing, my considerable shoe inventory, several jewelry, belt & accessory racks & more)... read more

Sue designed 3 closets for us in our new condo. The final work was better than the drawings and the installation was prompt and professional. The materials are much better than other closet design companies. Although the price was slightly higher than the comparable competition, the final product is much better. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We ordered a custom $40k closet. Met with designer and which took her 2 days of being at my house to complete. 2 months later my appointment to install came and the installer showed up 2 hours late the first day. He started to install when I asked him why he installed 14 inch shelves and not 16 inch shelves. He said that's what material they included. I called the designer, but no call back. Think of it this way. You want to buy a Ferrari at a hefty price with delivery in two months. The car dealer hands you a contract stating that you're buying "a car" without any description of the goods with the big price tag clearly listed. When a VW is handed to you in eight weeks, the dealer says . . "Well, we satisfied our part of the contract. Here's a car". Gottcha ! That's the California Closets I dealt with.
