This is absolutely 5 Star for closets! Jenny Ebel my assigned designer truly is talented with an incredible sense of space and design. Sensitive to my budget listening to make my needs and wants a reality. She was there for even to over see the installation! Wow!! Is my new closet!!! I tried others but California Closets is the true diamond of all other closet companies!!! Thank you Jenny Ebel for making my dream closet come true!

California Closet did a great job for us in designing our closets and incorporating what we wanted into the design. Ashley Werbel is an outstanding designer. We are very fortunate to have been assigned to her. She has extraordinary skills and is so pleasant to deal with. We had a very bad experience with Closet World in Palm Desert, CA. We had to put half down on the project before completion. I cannot speak to the quality of the closets, because scheduling someone to come to the house was a problem. It is unprofessional to text 2 hours before a scheduled appointment on a Saturday morning, then text again to confirm 30 minutes before. Not everyone is hanging on to their phone 24/7. Especially, if confirmation calls were already made during the week. In the pantry, I wanted the shelf to be adjustable so that once it was installed I could decide what level to put it. In the specs, despite my email, installer said it was a "fixed" shelf and in order to move it up he'd give me pins and I'd have to put the shelf in upside down. I was not happy but left it as is. After he left, I googled and voila - should be a pretty easy process to re- install the shelf 2 holes higher (whole time I was thinking if shelves are "fixed" why are there holes the complete length of the sides???).... read more

Waaaay too expensive! Plus, they required a showroom visit after the designer came out and the showroom isn't convenient at all.

We had our bedroom walk in closet reconfigured with California Closets and we also had our guest bedroom revamped as well. Our salesperson, Ashley, was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. In the guest bedroom, we replaced the original Murphy bed and giant wall unit with lighter colors and a more efficient layout for the room. After having an absolutely horrific experience with Closets by Design, working with them for a month, expecting them to show up on a particular day a month after we designed the closet, to install the finished product (primary closet) to then find out that the order was never placed, and corporate having a hard time reaching the sales person we worked with to FIRE her....We thankfully stumbled upon California Closets and their sales rep Alejandro Hernandez in Palm Desert.
