Lori came out on time and she did a great job. She took measurements and designed out closets right there on the spot. She had great ideas and designs. She is very easy to work with and my wife and I were very impressed. Lori was very personable and friendly. They were able to schedule an install just 5 days later. We had a wonderful experience, start to finish, working with the team at California Closets. We contacted California Closets as well as a competing local firm who we'd used in the past in a different home. Eric put my husband in touch with Sally our design consultant. Both firms were very attentive to our wishes and worked to both coach us but also incorporate our feedback into their designs. First I want to mention, that I was going to be the easiest sell as I wanted a closet and was willing to pay the price. Not just any price, but was desperate for a new closet. But, I did not want to be made a fool of or have be so difficult. Just design a working closet tell me price and lets do it. But no, sadly, this company is the 1st of 3. Part of my remodeling project was to get a new closet system. Sally was my designer and she came up with a couple of design ideas within a day of taking measurements. My closets are not very big, so her plans maximized as much space as possible. She understood I was pressed for time as I was moving into the house within a very short amount of time. My very first experience was in 2010 when I was pregnant with my first child and was getting her room ready when I thought to look around for a company to fix up the closet in her room. Called around and got closet world come for some measurement and then my second option was California closets. That's when Sally Benyola walked into my house with a lot of confidence and was very professional new exactly what she was doing and educated me on style and etc..... My experience with them was really good. The sales gal Joanne came out and really helped me with the design. She was very professional. The gentleman who installed the system did an excellent job. He too was very professional and left the job site very neat. Overall my experience with them could not of been better. I'm so excited to fill those amazing closets.

The sales rep showed up late, but was nice. Then when the installers did not show up, the rep told me it was not her problem. Then the installers showed up missing parts, when they came back, after missing another appointment, they were missing parts. There were also billing problems. rather than taking the payment according to the schedule agreed, they billed in $ 1,000.00 increments, resulting in bounced checks. Then try to call to reconcile, they do not call bac

Do not give these people your credit or ATM card info. They arbitrarily charge, unscheduled whether the work is done or not. They did not make my scheduled install date, then they charged my card anyway, without asking for authorization. When I called my salesperson, she told me it was not her problem. Awful!

After checking many reviews, we decided to get an estimate for our closets from California closets. The designer, Kathleen came to our house and took measurements and showed us what can be done. We were then supposed to meet her at their location for an hour long meeting. On the day of the meeting, we got lost and reached 20 mins late for the appointment.
