I am extremely pleased with my new master closet designed and installed by California Closets. From the first meeting with designer Cherie Gudanowski to the day of installation, everything ran smoothly and without a hitch. Cherie's design is perfect. My closet is small but somehow Cherie was able to give me lots of space for hanging rods, shelves, and drawers. California Closet did a great job for us in designing our closets and incorporating what we wanted into the design. Ashley Werbel is an outstanding designer. We are very fortunate to have been assigned to her. She has extraordinary skills and is so pleasant to deal with. We had a very bad experience with Closet World in Palm Desert, CA. We had to put half down on the project before completion. Overall pleased with how the closets turned out. On the pricier side but believe you pay for what you get. A+++ to my installer Ramon M. for doing a fantastic job. He made suggestions that made my closet work better and had a really can-do, positive attitude. He did not rush the installation and you could tell he had a lot of experience. Lori C was the CC consultant I worked with. She was professional but I think towards the end she got tired of my numerous revisions. I worked with Marie as designer and she is very, very talented. She had many awesome ideas, understood closets at a very deep level. Was a very emotional experience for me! Some tips: CC does not itemize components, so be sure to ask as small items are their money-makers. Base molding is essential (and adds to cost) which I couldn't understand clearly until I saw sketches in 3D in showroom. You must look at your designs in showroom to understand them fully. I am extremely happy with the end result. I want to offer some tips, however, as it's quite a challenge to get new closets and this company is very expensive. The Westchester County office and showroom are outstanding, their representatives are talented, responsible and respectful. It is essential to see your plan on their 3 day showroom screen, as it's hard to understand from the drawings alone. I want to begin by saying that my husband and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new walk-in, linen and pantry closets! Wendy Kis, our designer, is an excellent listener! Never once did she ask "why" we wanted something but always offered solutions. Our installers, Brian and Tim, were amazing. They arrived on time, were respectful in that they wore their masks while working in our apartment and finished cleaning up in a timely manner. This review is for a washer and dryer closet project done March of 2021. Jennifer Krueger was my project manager. Fantastic experience. Jennifer is knowledgeable, collaborative and responsive with superb follow-through. Troy did the installation. There was a small snafu during the install but it was handled swiftly and with transparency. Home improvement projects, no matter how simple, will never go as planned. Well, it is December and I just never got any call back after the initial consultation in which I was informed my ideas were not really feasible. I would have liked to see what was. I also felt that I did not meet some intangible/unspoken requirement. It couldn't have been affordability since there wasn't even any conversation about budget. Well, this frazzled mother will resume my search for my organizational needs.

We had California Closets in Fairfield design several closets for us in 1989. Recently one of the closets collapsed after 32 years of use. I noticed that there was a limited lifetime warranty on their closets. I called to describe what happened and i expected to find it was not covered for some reason. Actually, they never even questioned the warranty once they saw pictures. An installer came 3 days later, on a Saturday no less, and completely restored the closet. No fuss no muss no cost. Thanks so much!!
