disrespectful and ignorant . Had my truck towed after they were told where the owner lived they didn't even attempt to knock on the door . Fairly ignorant for fellow working class people to cause a headache of problem for someone else all just to prove a point . I hope they had a valid permit for their work for thier sake

Long story short, Dont use these guys unless you have to like myself(warranty claim for outside work). Sewage was backed up. Devon came out to camera the line and did a crap job. Had both inside and outside excavation work done. Inside floor drain needed replaced. Outside needed dug up to fix holes in the terrecotta pipe. Lines were not marked for the excavation crew. Overall, please do not use McVay in your future plumbing needs. We had a clog in our basement. The first McVay rep that came out was fine- just stated we needed a guy to snake it. That guy was Nick L. When Nick arrived he stuck a giant snake down the drain and claimed he had hit the pipe and was unable to move any further down the pipe. He claimed the only way to get to the blockage was rip up the concrete and lay a new piece of pipe to be able to get around the bend and get the clog. If I am remembering correctly, McVay used to include the fee for coming out in the service or waive it if services were provided . Now, they're charging $70 just to show up, with any actual service costing extra. Why am I being charged $70 for something that's essential to running your business? You have to travel to do your job--how does that become an extra fee for me, especially when the distance isn't significant?

do not use this service, untrustworthy, unprofessional, dishonest, lack of trained professionals, office, csr's and managers will lie to you over and over and over again and laugh as they collect money for shabby work. they don't care they only care about money the good reviews are mostly fake, made up by their own team

I had a scheduled maintenance appt for today with a timeframe from 8-12. I received a text at 8:25 saying they couldn't make it and I'd need to call to reschedule. My first call went unanswered. The second call, a lady named Renee, answered. I explained that I was calling because my appt was cancelled. She didn't say a word and put me back on hold. Super unprofessional! Call them if you have time to waste. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Unlike other contractors, the Representative from McVay Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, John Husar, took the time to listen to what we wanted, evaluated the situation, and made a proposal that was not a spur-of-the-moment proposal like some of the others. He offered us proposals for mini-split heating and cooling systems that we could afford. I was suspicious of McVay from the beginning. Look through all of their wonderful 5 star reviews and you'll notice that they all seem to follow the same pattern. It seems like many of these reviews are fake or they are written while the homeowner is being pressured/manipulated into it. McVay claims to offer free quotes both on their website and over the phone, but expect to receive a $70 fee regardless. Scheduled someone to come out and give me a quote for burst pipes. Their tech was here around 10 minutes; told me he'd send an estimate and left. Weeks went by, never got an invoice or estimate and went with someone else. Received an invoice today for $70 as a dispatch fee, that I was never informed of. They are billing me $70 for essentially nothing, as I never got any estimate or quote; which was the entire reason I asked for a technician to come out.
