Charter managed a combined kitchen remodel / floor replacement for us. Floors had to be replaced throughout our condo due to water intrusion due to faulty seals in all our windows and balcony doors, and the replacement was mostly covered by insurance. Charter steered us through the complex double coverage with our HOA's insurer and our own, and was willing to combine that job with a long-planned kitchen remodel. Charter Construction has been working on our condo complex for about a year now and they are almost done. It's a large complex and it takes quite a while for completion. Our condo association's re-piping project involved two high-rise towers and 233 individual and unique units that had to be re-piped, and then each returned to substantially its same condition as when the project began. This required careful coordination, numerous well qualified sub-contractors and vendors, and extensive customer service. I hope I've got the right Charter Construction. I just met two amazing hard-working guys. Louie and Tylor came to repair dry rot for our townhome. There was a vertical piece of wood they replaced and painted. I jokenly said...you can just paint the rest of my deck. Ha ha Before they left I went out to see the repair.....AND THEY HAD PAINTED THE WHITE BOARDS ON THE TOP OF DECK. Talk about customer service. I'd hire these two any time. I'm so pleased. I'd give these two more than 5 stars, if I could.
We needed a complete interior restoration of our 3-story Portland townhouse after a major fire in the ground level garage. We had heat, smoke and fire sprinkler damage throughout the house. This involved replacing all flooring, drywall, millwork, plumbing, electrical, kitchen, A/C, and other systems. After getting four quotes for my bathroom remodel, I chose Charter Construction. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive but I was immediately impressed by Bob Nelson's professionalism during the initial meetings. Bob and his team throughout the process were amazing. I had another company come to my home to dry up some flooding damage. After a few days they said I still needed another few days of drying and that they need to drill holes in the wall to make sure they get to all of the water. I had Charter come in for a second opinion (they've worked on my home before and did an amazing job). After several tests, they confirmed that there was zero water.
