My experience with CertaPro Painters was somewhat disappointing. The primary issue involved delays, as the painters frequently arrived late and departed early, often claiming to be on site to their supervisor when they were not present. Great experience with CertaPro Painters of North Raleigh! The project was completed in a timely manner and the finished result exceeded my expectations. Plus the team stayed in communication throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend them and would use their services again!
I had an amazing experience with CertaPro Painters. John helped to get the process started. He came by to take pictures and provided an estimate. They offer competitive pricing for their services. He was very responsive as I asked questions before finalizing my decision. Sheri provided recommendations for colors to complement my existing color schemes in the home. I used these folks to paint and caulk trim a couple years back. Two principal issues. First was that after they were "done", I noticed that there was wood that had been replaced on the front porch where there was "bleed through" of the knots in the wood- suggesting they didn't put primer down. I asked them to fix it- they did. So much went wrong with this painting project. So many promises made by the franchise owner that were not completed. Several areas that had nail pops on the ceiling were not repaired correctly (you can still see the nail pops) and several areas that have already cracked and were not prepared properly (it has been two weeks since the work was done). Would give negative stars but had to choose 1. The owner Kurt is unprofessional and I would not recommend this company. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and they cancelled the apt at the last minute. No reason provided other than the owner tried to make this my problem because I wouldn't change my time to another day. He told me I should look for another painter.

Jim, I am the only estimator for the company. As sometimes things happen in any business, I needed to reschedule, and it wasn't last minute. In fact, it was about 24 hours before we were to meet. I apologized about that three times and even asked if maybe you would like to contact another painter as I was unfortunately unable to work anything out with you on changing the date. I was trying to be polite. However, calling a business owner to swear at them because of a scheduling conflict is not ok.
They are the worst!! We had our house painted inside, they hired people that had NO business markings on their van.. We paid for Benjamin Moore paint!! By the time we knew anything, they were using off brand!! Their excuse was, we had a prior client that was unsatisfied.. without our approval.. they painted with Sherman Williams paint.. they used so much thinner.. after about 2 weeks started chipping!! The husband and wife Duo blamed it on us!! Don't trust these people
Heed the other reviews below regarding customer satisfaction. They advertise a six step process. Step three-surface prep and step six-supervisor walk thru inspection are non-existent. Had my bonus room, master bedroom and master bathroom painted in November. I have emailed and called to have Kirt/Sheri come out and look at the poor job; nail pops not addressed, poor wall fix, and paint drips but there is no response. Run away people. Run away!
When the consultant came to our home, we were very happy to sign on with CertaPro Painters. We were a bit swayed by their 5 star commercials, and the consultant's friendly demeanor and professional stories. However, we were significantly underwhelmed with the rest of the process and the final product.
