We had California Closets install cabinets in our garage and in our home two years ago. We had a great experience at the time and even though the prices were a little higher than others we thought the level of service was worth it. We were also told that we could move our garage cabinets in the future if our new garage was compatible with them. While they may have been busy helping their clients, both employees did not have the courtesy to acknowledge our presence to tell us to come back another time, take our name and number, or give us their business card. I even made eye contact with one employee and she looked away without acknowledgment. Terrible customer service in the Los Altos studio. We will not be using their services because of this!

We couldn't be happier working with California Closet, Los Altos office, specifically our designer, Charlene Rudee. We did our laundry room/mudroom, walking closet, my daughter's room built-in storage around her bed as well as desk area and her reach-in closet and in-law suite reach in closet. Charlene has great ideas and good taste and she went above and beyond to work around our hectic schedule. We have had several custom built-ins designed by CA Closets. These are in public spaces such as by the fireplace, office and dining room. We worked with Cindy Anderson, the designer and it was a great experience as well as a hassle free experience. She showed patience, vision and went the extra mile to get us the look we wanted. The installation crew was great as well, especially Mark and left the place clean with great attention to detail. They also do a great job following up on any necessary adjustments.

I had Manon Demers out to advise on new wardrobes inserts for my house. She came up with an excellent design. I couldn't be happier with the overall result. I then had her come and advise on a new shelving system for our TV room. The design and the installation were first class and I couldn't recommend her and the team highly enough!

"WOW" has been the response when people looked at my 4 closets designed by Sally Benyola. At the Los Alto Show Room, Sally and I played with colors, materials and design on computer simulation. We tested out materials around the show room. She is very knowledgeable and knows how the space and design play out. She did not hesitate to point out what would not work. I used California Closets in the past, and this is the prime reason I asked for their help on a special project while my husband was away. We desperately needed to change a small closet in the home to a shoe closet. Charlene Rudee was the designer who really worked hard at this. I never knew this was a "first off" type of small project undertaking, as she was full of ideas, suggestions, and reminder for my part of the project. They didn't measure right and had to redesign the closet. I took time off from work only for the installers to show up and tell me they couldn't install the closet. I went through the effort of taking every item out of my closet for nothing. Clothes have been sitting out in my home for about 2 weeks now while I wait for the redesign and install.

Manon is a genius and is really nice to work with. She designed several spaces for us- garage, master closet, mudroom, pantry, etc., and all of them turned out perfectly-- well beyond our expectations. She really listened to what we wanted. Excellent design and customer service. We had an estimate done by a competitor that was supposed to have been much cheaper, but the overall bid was almost the same amount, and the quality of the design and materials were not even close.
