I had a really nice experience with Dana at California Closet. Dana wasn’t the original designer assigned to us. But after they know that our house is still under construction, they switched to Dana as she is more experienced. She really is! We started the project even before our new house has the inner walls or the floors. Initially we don’t know what we want exactly, both my husband and me are lazy person that don’t fold clothes at all :). I am not satisfied. A huge amount of money and the minor details were missed. I am still waiting for completion after many weeks, installed 20th June. The installation was quick but obvious faults with design appeared which could have been adjusted at the time. They were not. The design was not accurate, consequently the access to a power point was partially covered over and therefore inaccessible. Cal. Closets installed closets in our new home at the Forum in Cupertino several years ago. We were so satisfied that I had them install a new desk for me also. Later on I wanted to modify the desk to better meet my needs. They did it for a small additional fee. Earl was the installer and he was great---very clean, quick and very knowledgeable.

CC provides good service, and the designer who assisted me was professional and patient. The quality of their work is commendable, and I would rate them five stars for both professionalism and craftsmanship. However, I am giving a three-star rating overall due to an issue with my order. I have two long glass doors, and my original order specified one frosted glass door, covering half a door. Unfortunately, due to back-and-forth communication, the order was placed incorrectly. Pros: scheduling onsite consultation was quick and easy. Day-of installation easy. Design has made a big difference in my reach in closet space, providing more room and storage. Cons: Poor communication with designer after signing contract and after install. Lack of communication between designer and office staff holding up contract signing which delayed install scheduling.
