I called California closet for a free consultation for a wardrobe I wanted to install in my daughters room. Was trying to decide either I purchase one to built on my own or too have one made. Elizabeth who was the designer was amazing and Matt the installer was great. I have nothing wrong to say about this company. Why a great experience

Hands-down the worst customer service I've ever received! Had a major project done ( this is not my first with the company, this is actually my fourth) and this is the worst experience yet. They did a massive project and completely ruined the project. They did not follow their plans whatsoever. They need to fix their four major errors but I cannot seem to get a resolution on the phone. I made an appointment well over a week before the intended appointment date (this past Monday). On Sunday night, the designer, Jacqueline K., texted me around 5 or 6pm asking if we could change our appointment that was the following morning at 10am. She said that she had another job in my area around 4pm and because she lives across the bridge, she did not want to cross the bridge four times that day. Pretty appalling. Melissa F. Came by our place. She was knowledgeable, sweet, and did not pressure us at all. When we learned of the lifetime warranty, the quality, and the price ( I shopped around and others came in More expensive and did not meet the same standards) we were sold. She scheduled everything and sent us an. E-sign document via email that made our hectic life simple. After finally deciding to remodel our closets we contacted California Closets. We met with Maria and she showed us multiple layouts via 3D software that showed us exactly how the finished product would look which was extremely helpful. The communication between Maria, my wife and myself was excellent throughout the entire process . We always get compliments on our closets and would definitely choose California Closets and Maria again for any future closet needs.

Poor follow up. Had an issue with the closets after installation, no one ever called me back to this day. Go elsewhere.

Have used them elsewhere and was pleased so when moved to Westchester tried again. Very responsive and good design. A bit of a wait for 4 closets but done. Some items not as desired but extra for return visit. Some minor damage to walls also not addressed/ When I climber up to top there was a mess to clean up as well. Top shelf prices for decent design but not worth the headache. Just finished last 3 with Transform in New Rochelle/ Similar, maybe slightly less $$$, way better service and all.

I've used California Closets multiple times in different houses and while the designer was GREAT to work with and the installer good I was totally annoyed and surprised that when he asked about disposing of the metal railing and some wood that I would appreciate him leaving it at the front of the property since my trash company will pick up stuff left there and so will my village. My wife and I had a closet installed in a spare bedroom and the entire process was great!! Our designer , Nicole, was tremendously efficient!! She was able to show us the entire layout in 3D on her laptop minutes after taking all the measurements herself. The installer, Fatmir, was on time, clean and efficient. Total install time was about 3 hours, I highly recommend them!!!
