I worked with Marie as designer and she is very, very talented. She had many awesome ideas, understood closets at a very deep level. Was a very emotional experience for me! Some tips: CC does not itemize components, so be sure to ask as small items are their money-makers. Wasn't sure what to expect during this experience- I knew that I wanted a closet that met all my needs but I had no idea how to articulate it to the designer , Lucky for me the designer Maria Castro was not only awesome at designing a great closet but also assisting me with a lot of great ideas of how I can get the most out of my limited space. OMG California Closets is the best company I've ever dealt with, real quality and great customer service. The tech that repaired my closet system yesterday ( Jason) was very professional and knowledgeable and knew just what to do and was polite and very neat. I'm a big fan, Jackie was great too!! This is the second time we've had Chris at California Closets help us design space, and the second time we've been pleased with the result. First, we created a budget conscious storage solution to the washer/dryer area. In my son's bedroom, we designed bookshelves for a wall that has a large window. Chris has a good eye and quickly renders his ideas on the computer so we can work on the ideas. He's open to my suggestions and readily let me see how they'd look. We met Virginia of California Closets through friends that had used her. We had just finished construction on two bedrooms and wanted to organize two walk in closets. From the very beginning Virginia was very responsive and had great design ideas for both of the closets. As part of the process we also visited the showroom in Hawthorne. We recently contacted California Closets in Hawthorne, NY to have our bedroom closet redone. I have never had a more pleasant experience. The people on the phone were cordial and helpful, Virginia showed up on time for the measurement and was awesome. She made the decision making process easy by explaining everything in easy to understand language. Then the installers also showed up on time. They were neat, quiet and efficient. We don't go through groceries and household supplies at an abnormal rate- but since we remodeled our kitchen in the Fall '21, we've been wanting to slightly elevate our almost 2yr old remodeled garage with a mounted pantry for an empty space. We thought about going with one of our carpenter guys to build us a pantry but thought going for professional closet builders, would be more in line with what hubs already has going on in the garage.
