I want to begin by saying that my husband and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new walk-in, linen and pantry closets! Wendy Kis, our designer, is an excellent listener! Never once did she ask "why" we wanted something but always offered solutions. Our installers, Brian and Tim, were amazing. They arrived on time, were respectful in that they wore their masks while working in our apartment and finished cleaning up in a timely manner. Terrible, terrible, terrible!! Do not get your closets through here. They rush you when you order in person. Then installers are sub par, so bad you would think they picked em up from Home Depot on the way to your house bad. I spent $13,000 on 3 little kids closets. I used CA closets in Cali and they did a fabulous job! But this franchise is garbage. They caulked all their mistakes drill holes, didn't level the back panel so the shelving is all wonky, my upgraded dovetailed drawers don't close properly and flip up if you tou... read more
they talk a big game, stand behind a long reputation but deliver zero quality or expertise. High price compared to other Closet companies. better off hiring a luxury millwork company for what they charge to do a true custom build. I am throwing away the 5 closets and the pantry California Closets installed 2for over $35k and finishing our project with a different contractor. I had a confirmed scheduled appointment with California closets for 12 o'clock this afternoon, I got a phone call at 9:25 stating that the person who was going to come and give me the estimate was sick. Sorry but not cool I took a day off from work to schedule this appointment, I asked if there was another person who could come out today I was told no. I then told them don't ever call me again don't ever schedule another appointment you cost me money to take time off from work.
Their designer left in the middle of our job. After completion we realized that the room looks so unbalanced. Two desk system and one desk has 2 drawers and the second desk system has 9 large drawer system. We left the designing to the expert, someone we had used in the past and that system was beautiful so we trusted the expert and the final system is awful. They will not make any adjustments & we are forced to hire a 3rd party to fix what we paid an exorbitant amount to have a professional to design the room.

California closets did a fantastic job for me. Esther was the designer who went beyond the call of duty to see that I got everything I needed. She transformed an extra bedroom into a full-blown closet with the center aisle I love it. Had to call her Once more for another closet and again California Closet did an excellent job I highly recommend them and make sure you ask for the Ester, & installer Tiago he was great extremely polite and very neat! thank you California Closet for a wonderful experience with you again!
Unhappily trapped between two franchises! I live in Miami where my closets are now and building a new condo with lots of closets and an office in Ft. Lauderdale. The Miami franchise can come to my home and measure and design closets for me with a price but can't install it in Ft. Lauderdale. The Boca Raton office that covers Ft. Lauderdale can meet me in Broward somewhere but not my current home but can build the closet. My wife and I moved into a new home 2 weeks ago. When we arrived, our master bedroom had his and hers separate walk-in closet outfitted with a single wire shelf for hanging clothes on each wall.
