It's time for another round of great food. This time we had the Salmon BLT and Patriot Burger. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. This time we ate indoors which was nice but outside is a better vibe.
Burgers were absolutely amazing!! We ordered to go since it was 20 minutes until closing but then decided to ask if we could just sit there and eat our to go food and they were very welcoming and kind and even brought us waters with our to go meal. The vibe and atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely recommend!!
Here for lunch with a party of six last week. The food was amazing. The Creamsicle shake was very good. It had was like a Creamsickle, of course, but it was noticeable in that there was actual orange zest in it! Really nice taste. My buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with applewood bacon was incredible. Perfectly done, with excellent crunch, not dried, and great taste. The side salad was huge! It was the size of a regular salad at other places. The surface was good and friendly, and we had an enjoyable time.
Great burger place!! I would highly recommend the following: - Johnny Cash Burger - Duck Burger - Poutine fries - Gorgonzola fries Pictured is Johnny Cash burger with gorgonzola fries. I personally really loved the poutine fries -- who doesn't love fries with gravy and cheese, and it's not a common menu item in the US, even if you have never tried poutine, take the leap and TRY IT!!
We came in at lunch time and didn't have to wait to be seated in this cozy, comfortable place. We had the Duck Burger with fries smothered in Asiago cheese; the Old School Hamburger with a generous side salad; and Chili Verde Eggs, which was fantastic, made with Hatch chili, my favorite. Service was friendly and quick. Great place and we will be back.
Loco Moco time! Great downtown location in Walnut Creek. Meet up with gal pals for catch up brunch. Started off with Strawberry Shortcake Boozy Shake (sooooo good!). Then had the Loco Moco...good mushroom brown gravy and great hamburger patty (smash style) and perfect eggs on rice. Great American food. I love the boozy shakes. Inside can be a bit loud but they have outdoor dining as well. I have visited several times and have consistently had friendly and helpful service.
The food was so excellent. !!! We all had the salmon bowls!! We could not hear ourselves think !!! It was so so unbelievably noisey. Why can't something be done.! It was even early at 5:30
I enjoyed my time at Broderick, but I wasn't thrilled with everything there. Pro's. 1.Menu is really inventive with lot's of options. I was happy to get the brunch menu when we arrived and I definitely want to go back to try them again and get a chance to sample the brunch menu. There were a lot of options and while there is definitely a lot of the things you see at other places, there is enough variety to make some classics stand out.
