Let me just tell you my history. I've got a almost 24 yr old Trane. It started squealing and my local company that installed & serviced it since new sent out a tech who said the Compressor was shot. Big expense to replace and I elected not to spend repair moneys. A sales person came and priced me a 16 seer replacement-not a Trane. Said they no longer handle Trane.
