**** ***** was on time and correct/fixed our split unit professionally. This was after another technician (less experienced) was unable to do a full repair. Will ask for **** whenever possible.

M&S Air conditioning One morning, my ********** whole-house thermostat displayed a Replace Me message. Since ****************** are affiliated, I decided to go with M&S for the repair, as their parts are covered under a 12-year warranty. When I called ******, their AI receptionist scheduled an emergency house call which wasnt for 7 days. Great! In January I was approached by ******** and plumbing and offer me a service contract. Which sounded like a good deal at $10 per month and included two inspections and cleaning per year. Yesterday they came and after a while I was informed my AC capacitor was out of range and need to be replaced or it would fail soon. The estimate was $1100. Which was reduced to $750 (which sounded like a good deal). Thats until later in the day I check pricing on the internet. Capacitor $60, leak sealant $60, and 4 lbs of freon $100. In 2010 I bought a air conditioner for my lanai. I had to replace the unit a second time in 2022. Now I am being told that I have to spend another $1331 to have a coil replaced just a few years later. This company does not back up their product. I do not recommend them.
Horrible experience with M&S first not showing up to original appointment for maintenance. Then they show up about 5pm for rescheduled appointment. Technician supposedly completed everything and left. We get the report and things dont line up. He never came inside so not sure how he checked thermostat or turned system on to check it. One part of report said filter was good, yet its dirty and needing replaced. Another part of the report said the filter was disposable and replaced. Old dirty filter was still in unit. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!I have been ripped of by these scammers who try to constantly upsell me to something like a surge protector and then mysteriously just after I say no, my fan blower is hit by a surge! I have been trying to get away from them and **** offered to take my just renewed service plan of $344 off my board outside for $750 repair but I don't want these folks who leave screws off and panels open to keep coming.
