We recently had our master walk-in closet redesigned by California Closets in Modesto. We are located in Lodi and had several friends recommend them. The design process with Mindy was fun and easy. The installation crew was professional and delivered an expert service in a timely manner. Our closet has weird angles, but they had no problem with the installation. The product is beautiful. We now feel like we have a dressing room instead of just a closet. I highly recommend California Closets!

An extremely disappointing experience in dealing with the owner - Bob. I was so excited to start work on organizing our Master Suite walk in closet. Bob came to our home and spent about an hour working on the design. My budget was $3,000 - I think that is a lot of money. Bob's estimate came in over $2,000 - he said he would send a mock up in a week - however it took longer, when I finally received the $3,200 estimate- no drawers were added - so I asked what it would cost for 4 medium draws - the cost was $380.00 - So now we... read more

I don't like leaving negative reviews, so let me start with the positive. The owner, Bob, came to our house and came up with a workable design for improving our closet space. The installers did a fine job of implementing his design, and it is far more functional than before. However, we expected the final product to look like the pictures he showed us, and that we had seen online, but got a jarring contrast between the new components and the ragged mess of the old closet. Wow!!!!! I cannot say enough great things about Mindy Woolley and the team at California Closets!!!! This is the second time we have used her and she never disappoints! Last year she transformed our garage into something usable with plenty of storage and a gorgeous office desk. This last month she designed a beautiful entertainment center for my living room. Repeat customer and Mindy did a wonderful job again designing a functional and efficient storage space for a small masters walk-in closet. We also took advantage of their winter sale and got a good deal for the upgraded espresso colored wood finish to match the cabinets in our house. We would definitely use them again if we have another project in mind.

Great experience from beginning to end. The consultant,Mindy,was professional and knowledgeable and took into consideration my needs and gave me a design that is awesome. Josh, the installer, was prompt,polite and did a fantastic job with the installation and his cleanup was excellent. Now my closet is no longer a jungle because it's functional, organized and looks fantastic. I've had many projects done at my home over the last year and this was by far, the smoothest of them all.

Mindy did a FABULOUS job designing and executing the design for my spare room that I turned into a girl's dream office. I love the design and the feel of it. The installers were respectful of the work space and the install went without a hitch. I cannot wait for my next project to have Mindy back out!
