Up until today i had a pretty good feeling about Koenig in Tipp City. But that changed today. They have been taking care of my JD and Honda mowers for several years. I recently purchased a used JD X350 lawn tractor with added snow plow and tire chains. The tractor arrived at our home just prior to the snow storm. So I thought we were set for the incoming snow. I stopped into Koenig for a new chain for my Stihl chain saw today. I also brought a dull blade for them to sharpen. I was told I would have my blade back in 2 days. They had a new saw blade in stock for me. They carry an impressive line of Stihl saws and trimmers. They also carry a big line of John Deere mowers and tractors. They are knowledgeable about the products they sell and friendly. I get all my Stihl and JD parts and service here. I'm glad such a professional and well run shop close by.
My John Deere 1025r PTO wouldn't stay engaged so I could mow. Made an appointment and dropped it off. When I picked it up I was told it needed a new belt. I was told they changed the belt and the tech had mowed with it for 40 minutes with no issue. Got home and same issue within 5 minutes of trying to mow. Clearly I was lied to and charged for time they didn't spend on my tractor. I called and of course they denied it. The guy I talked to wasn't the tech so "they couldn't do anything."

Had my mower for 3 weeks and no contact. Called today and service manger said he called for 3 weeks every day. I have answering service and wife or I have been home for the 3 weeks during their hours. No phone calls here. Called today and service manager said he called daily.
