I went into the store with my measurements to shelve one closet wall. Katherine worked up a plan with pricing and said she would email it to me. A couple of days later I call after not receiving plan and left message that I was going to go with them and would she send me plan. Never heard from them again. Went with another company who did my whole closet, probably a lot less expensive than California Closet would have done. We will never know.

Brandon Hyland is A-mazing! Not only was he the only designer that was able to implement EVERYTHING I requested (We moved and had to combine 2 walk-in closets into 1), but he was extremely patient with me as I changed nearly everything in our design...twice! He worked within my budget, never going outside my comfort zone, and was exceptional when it came to the "designer touches". If you're looking for a closet designer, request Brandon!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We gave them a down payment to hold a particular finish for our closet. We came back later to get our closet done, and they jacked up the price and would not honor their commitment. When they realized we were not going to do business with them after all, we began to receive the absolute worst customer service. We had a great experience with California Closets. Melody was our designer and she's a joy to work with: prompt, polite and extremely knowledgeable. We had two closets redone and we couldn't be happier. Melody suggested a handyman to assist us with some prep work and he was great. We did the demolition and prep for the second closet ourselves ( my wife did most of it ) and we just used David Wells, the handyman from Rent A Husband to install our new bifold doors. My husband and I had some free time and have several projects to do around our home that we recently moved into. We decided to stop in and browse the showroom. My husband walked in first and I didn't even make it through the threshold before I hear "can you shut the door!" Omg WHAT? Can I get through the door before I close it?? worst service ever... communication on their end was horrible .. the sales people rude.. professionalism .. none..they have the attitude that they are the best and do not need the business .. well guess what .? i have been checking around since they screwed up my order and i have found better for the same price

Terrible customer service. This business doesn't need anymore customers; it's evident in the way potential new business is turned away.
