Hired California Closets to remodel an office. The project was delayed a month due to their supply issues. The installation went well except a cabinet door won't stay shut. After a few weeks they finally came to repair the door. The fix actually made it worse. We're still waiting several weeks later and there's no communication or plan by California Closets to fix the door. Given the high cost, I would have hoped for better service.

We have had CC come out 3 separate times and everytime we have had Kelsey as our designer. She has been amazing! We have had multiple closets done, our mud room and a bar installed. We have been so happy with everything they have done. Kelsey always gave us multiple options for designs. She was patient and worked within our budget. After waiting 3 months for closet organizers to be installed, I was told at installation that the drawers were damaged and would have to be installed later. They promised that they would be ready in a few days..... 10 days later.. still no drawers. Very disappointed as my closets are not complete and not sure when they will arrive as I have had no communication from the company
My husband & I had to audit measurements multiple times, follow-up with our sales rep multiple times and ultimately ended up letting CA Closets know the dimensions needed because their software and measurements were incorrect. The finished product was incorrect as well, despite all the hand-holding we had to do for our project. I will absolutely shop around next time we have a cabinet project in our home.
Anna Abrams--closet designer came to take measurements of our closet space. She also took an inventory of our clothes for the fit. She made useful recommendations. Then we visited the Edina store to look at samples. She helped us all the steps. The guys who came to install the closets were very nice and professional. They left the work area tidy each day. Absolutely stunning! From the moment we set out on our adventure to add built ins to our living room we struggled time after time with independent contractors not understanding what exactly it was that we were trying to accomplish or bidding the project at a very unreasonable cost. Our sales associate Staci was pushy and uncooperative. Our original appointment was scheduled for 1/22 and (understandably) rescheduled due to a snowstorm for the following week. As a result our initial consultation was three days before the end of the month and the end of a promotion. Staci continually reminded us that we would lose the promotion opportunity within 72-48 hours, rather than working with us to insure we were comfortable with our design, it met our needs and was within our price point. The designer who came out was really friendly, and very creative! She took our odd-shaped space, and made it COMPLETELY work for us! It looks fantastic. The whole process was extremely simple and involved little-to-no effort on our part to get it done. Wish I could afford to have them do more in my house, but one thing at a time. :-) I truly love the finished product!
